English-born American jazz singer and songwriter. Born March 10, 1932, Essex, England. Died June 23, 2016 (aged 84) USA. Moore performed in nightclubs, recorded for large British labels, appeared on television and radio, and toured Europe, Israel and the U.S. In her late 20s, Moore immigrated to the U.S. and was signed by the Chess-Argo label. After marrying an American, Moore retired from music to raise their children. When the children entered their teens, she started performing again throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. Moore used the alias "Susan Morrel" for some of her compositions, including with fellow English songwriter Harry Fields (using pseudonym David Greer(3)).
