Maleficio formed in 1990. They hails from Sweden. Started playing melodic Blackened Death Metal in the vein of Dissection, Sacramentum, Unanimated, The Moaning...in fact an Archangel member is involved in Maleficio. Maleficio appeared on the VOD Records compilation from 2000 called "Voices Of Death (Part III) - In Death We Trust..." with the song "Path To Desecration" (04:23). The song was recorded at Inapt Studio, Lerum the 27th of February, 1999 with the line-up shown below. Maleficio is for Spanish ''Hex'.
