Поль-Марсель Русаков

(February 24, 1908, Marseille, France — 1973, Leningrad, USSR) - Soviet composer, songwriter, conductor. He was born into a Jewish family that emigrated after the pogroms of the early twentieth century. In 1918, the family was interned in Russia. 1937-1947 GULAG camps. On the recordings released after the arrest of the composer, the author of the music indicated other composers. After 1956 he worked in Leningrad.
