For writing & performance credits, see Tom Havelock Tom Havelock originally started out as singer and songwriter in the critically acclaimed band Psychid. Signed to BMG through DB Records in 2001, they put out a series of singles and EPs receiving BBC Radio One plays from Mark Radcliffe and Jo Whiley before the release of their debut album in 2003. Following support slots with Radiohead, The Electric Soft Parade, and Brendan Benson, the band parted ways in 2006 and Tom founded Hook & The Twin with drummer Marcus Efstratiou. The duo have released a string of singles, attracting radio DJ fans, including Rob da Bank, Huw Stephens, John Kennedy and Zane Lowe and their first album was released in 2012. As a writer, Tom co-wrote the first single from Sub Focus, 'Falling Down' feat Kenzie May, co-wrote and featured on the single 'Through the Night' for Drumsound and Bassline Smith as well as co-writing the title track for Cheryl Cole's third studio album 'A Million Lights'. Last year he co-wrote the hit single ‘Magnetic Eyes’ feat Baby Blue with Matrix and Futurebound, which was A List at Radio 1 for 6 weeks. Recently Tom has been working with artists and producers including Cheryl Cole, Raleigh Ritchie, Joel Compass, Sinead Harnett and Craze and Hoax. Tom continued his successful partnership with Matrix & Futurebound, writing their biggest track to date, 'Control' feat. Max Marshall, which spent 3 weeks in the top 10 and has been a major UK airplay hit.
