Tejano band formed in 1981 also referred to as Grupo Romance. The band was fronted by former Roberto Pulido y Los Clasicos sax-man Mario Alberto Montes. Romance was started by Montes and what was left of Laura Canales’ band. Montes later left Romance to start his own band, Obsesión.
