Jesús Rincón

Jesús Rincón Cárdenas (Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua, February 1, 1937). Known as Chucho Rincón, he is a producer, arranger, guitarist and Mexican author. Their productions have won 5 Grammy awards and 9 Latin Grammy awards. He is President of the Mexican Institute of Mariachi. He was born in Chihuahua, he grew up in Apatzingán, Michoacán, so Chucho is known as Michoacano. In its beginnings, it was a member of the Mariachi Apatzinguense. Graduated, in Mexico City, as singing student of Maestro Roberto Stanley Ortega, and acting with teachers Andrés Soler and Fernando Wagner. As Artistic Director of Discos Capitol Mexico, on May 7, 1975, together with Ringo Starr, he opened the building of the company that is currently Universal Music Latin Entertainment in Mexico City. Chico Che and La Crisis, the entirety of his discography was produced by Chucho Rincón. Chucho declares that he is his most beloved artist, and his professional life project. The Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico awarded Chucho Rincón dos Preseas SACM. It has 200 songs recorded.
