American music business entrepreneur, concert promoter and producer and artist manager Born: 11th December 1944 Brooklyn, New York, USA Died: 8th January 2022 Manhattan, New York, USA Best known as a co-creator of the Woodstock Music & Art Festival in 1969 along with Artie Kornfeld, John Roberts (50) and Joel Rosenman. He owned and managed the label Just Sunshine Records. He managed such artists as Joe Cocker, Rickie Lee Jones and Willy DeVille. His company, The Michael Lang Organization (MLO,) encompasses live event production, film production and artist management. MLO also has worked with a good amount of artists, including Outkast, Prince, Snoop Dogg, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and Red Hot Chili Peppers. NOTE!
