Edward "Broadway Eddie" Warhoftig (died 5th July 2003) was the founder and owner of The Broadway Record Museum in 1966. Eddie was involved with the Philadelphia and New Jersey music industries including owning his own label Fast Eddie Records A friend and business associate of Philadelphia radio personality Jerry Blavat, he also worked as a record promoter and producer at Philadelphia International Records, owned by Camden native Leon Huff and Kenneth Gamble. In 1977 he co-produced [m262532], which was placed on the soundtrack of the movie [m23443]. He received the Martin Luther King Freedom Medal in 2000; he received the Key to the City of Camden; he received an award from the National Order of Black Law Enforcement; he was on the Board of Camden Boys & Girls Club and contributed many hours and funds to the children of Camden.
