Psychedelic rock band, active in the latter half of the 1960s and originally hailing from Cwmbran, Wales, UK. Taking their name from Dylan's sleevenotes to "Highway 61 Revisited", South Wales band Jade Hexagram in 1966/67 cut a few demos at Monmouth studio Future Sounds (later Rockfield) before relocating to London. Regulars on the underground circuit, they played such venues as Middle Earth and the Marquee alongside Soft Machine, Tyrannosaurus Rex, The Incredible String Band, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, etc. In early 1968 they were booked into Marquee Studios to record a handful of original songs but with no record company interest and and finally the group broke up in late 1968. Their recordings have appeared on a number of Cherry Red Records compilations and box-sets.
