Indie rock project of singer/guitarist Jon Devoto (ex-The Matches) and drummer Ross Traver, formed after The Matches went on an indefinite hiatus in 2009. Bird By Bird self-released one album, 2011's While You Sleep. Devoto reunited with The Matches, while Traver went on to Unconditional Arms, Culture Abuse, and Wavves.
