Simon York

Simon York is the founder member of the post-punk band Luxury Stranger. As an on-going working musician/composer/singer songwriter, Simon writes music and songs in various styles - some of which do not fit under the Luxury Stranger banner... and so, he has produced 'solo' works. The first EP - titled '1' - was released in early 2012 and then the 'Other Voices' EP was released in September 2012. Simon released his first solo album - "Nothing's Ever Quite What You Thought It Would Be" - in November 2013. The album was well received and there are plans to re-release the album through German label, Cold Insanity Music. Now (2015) he is working on a second solo album - "Skyscraper".
