Grupo Agreste

Emerged in the late 70s with young boys of the interior of northern "Minas Gerais" and organized in city Montes Claros. They released their first album in 1980 the label recorded at Studio Crystal-Bandeirantes (Clack), Brazil Soon the band burst on the national scene and two of their songs, Zumbi and Jaíba, were included in the soundtrack of the novel Rose of Bahia TV Bandeirantes. In 1982 the band recorded in Studio Mosh-SP their 2nd and last LP and this latest work are the two songs that most draw the Catrumano geraiseiro and synthesize more these people northof Minas Gerais, the songs "A lenda do Arcoiris" and "Ponte Cigano". Group members were musicians: Ildeu Brauna, Alexandre Toledo, Chorró, Tom Andrade, Manoelito, Pedro Boi e Toninho.
