Rock band from the Netherlands. Active from 1996 to 2004. The Band played all the main venues in the Netherlands, the Noorderslag Festival twice, the Lowlands-festival and the Popkomm in Cologne. They did several live performances on nation-wide TV and radio shows in Holland. Seedling went on a UK tour nine times. They played live at BBC Maida Vale Studio's on John Peel's show May 16 2001, and on the BBC Radio "One Live"-festival 2001 in Birmingham (with Ikara Colt and Hefner). In January 2002 Seedling recorded a John Peel studio session. July 24 2003 their second studio-session was broadcast. Tracks of the CD-EP "Sham Pain", the full-length albums and both vinyl singles were regularly played by John Peel on his Radio 1 show and BBC Worldservice program. The song "Sensational vacuum" ended in the 2001 edition of the Festive Fifty at no. 37. Seedling played CMJ Music Marathon 2003 in New York, USA on October 25 at the Sin-é club.
