Trickster (10)

Funk rock / new wave ~ electronic band from Kyoto, Japan, originally active during the '80s. Initially active as band called "1999", which was formed right after the original incarnation of Kyoto-based punk band ZigZag (3) disbanded in 1983 by former Zig Zag members Hiroshi Miki and Mark, Mashimo from Fromage, and Hidenori Fujiwara (aka Hidé or Bide) from Ultra Bide. Yung Tsubotaj from EP-4 later joined 1999. 1999 was active from March 1983 until December 25th, 1983. The band later developed into Trickster with a different lineup sometime during the mid '80s, appeared on the "Kyoto Night" comilation LP on Captain Records in 1987.
