Tony Cantero

Spanish guitarist, born in Málaga, Spain. Since 2004, playing and touring all around the world with the Spanish band Chambao, the creator of the flamenco-chill label and winner of "Premio de la Música 2007", the Spanish and Latin music award edition of that year for their album "Con Otro Aire". Since 2006, playing, recording and touring around the world with the Bulgarian violinist Vasko Vassilev, the virtuoso concert master of the Royal Opera House in London, remarking some editions of the Toyota Classics Tour in Japan and many other Asian countries, and specially playing for Sting with him. In 2016 he moved to Lanzarote, soon he met and started collaborations with featured local musicians like Toñín Corujo, Yarel Hernández, Israel Curbelo, Gopar, Ale García, Zolt Kovacs, Antonio de la Rosa, Eva Aroca, Jessica Abu (with whom he created the project "Blue Candela"), etc. Actually attending Vasko Vassilev's tours and working around the island with the people mentioned above but mainly performing as a soloist with his "Crossover Guitar" live sessions show and with "Blue Candela" together with Jessica Abu.
