Tonight At Noon

Pete and Gavin Livingstone released the innovative album “Tonight at Noon” in 1984, pioneering the use of electronics in Traditional music. The album received extremely favourable reviews on both sides of the border. Other members were recruited, the band was christened TONIGHT AT NOON, and the second album, “Down to the Devils” was released in 1988. This rockier-sounding album, containing more original material, was regarded as one of the best albums of the year, and was played regularly on air. In particular, the track “The John MacLean March” came to be regarded as the band’s signature tune. Extensive television and radio work followed, and much time was spent gigging around the country. The album was released on CD in 1990.
