Brenda Forbes

British-born American actress. Born January 14, 1909 in London, England, UK Died September 11, 1996 in New York City, New York. Best known for her distinguished career on Broadway. She was born to a theatrical family and came to America in her teens to join her mother, already an actress in the U.S. She was nominated for a Tony Award in 1967 for 'The Loves of Cass McGuire', and, in 1975, received the Joseph Jefferson Award as Best Actress in a Principal Role for 'The Sea' at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.
