October 23, 1954 - January 16, 2011 Jerry Margosian was born in Fresno to Abe and Barbara Margosian, October 23, 1954. He graduated from Reedley High School in 1972. He lived most of his teenage life in Reedley, but then his love for music took him to many places. He lived in San Francisco for a short time where he played with the band Santana. Then signed with a producer to write, but Jerrys music was ahead of the times and he was told it wouldn't sell. Later his love of music took him to Los Angeles where he teamed up with Robert Brill and two others playing in a band in Redondo Beach. Through Robert a contact was made in Japan with one of Japans well known musician, and the Yamaha Corporation sponsored the Band Char. The band recorded an album, then Jerry and Robert returned back to Reedley for a month, but returned to tour Japan with the band and made a #1 chart song. After the tour Robert Brill joined the band, Berlin as the drummer and Jerry returned home. Sometime later he received a call from a band in Japan and was asked to meet in L.A. where he would produce a record for this band.
