Dutch conductor (1922-1989) Roodbergen was the conductor of Christian male choirs in Hoogeveen, Assen and Vroomshoop. He started his career as an oratorio and opera singer with the Amstel Vocaal Ensemble. Later he switched to choral conducting. Many long-playing records appeared from his choirs. Alle Roodbergen performed dozens of times with his choirs for radio and TV.
