American trio based in Los Angeles, California, active circa 1947–1955. They toured the US and Canada, made several musical shorts for Universal Pictures, recorded for MGM Records, Palace (11) and Excel (5), and produced their own TV show in Hollywood. The original line-up consisted of Ralph Wolf (piano, organ); George Russell (guitar); and Carl Carelli (accordion). Around 1948–49 Carelli was replaced by Jimmie Haskell, and on the Palace and Excel releases the guitarist is Mike Andre.
