Vic Franklyn
Настоящее имя: Vic Franklyn
Об исполнителе:
Welsh-Canadian pop singer, known as the Canadian 'Frank Sinatra'. Born in Wales as Lyn Evans, he became an adopted son of Canada and his talent was included within the 'Canadian Talent Library Trust', a non-profit trust designed to promote Canadian performing arts. Vic Franklyn (named for his favorite singers, Vic Damone and Frank Sinatra) became one of the CTL's best known artists. Among the most distinctive features of his albums were the reggae-influenced tracks arranged by fellow CTL artist Jackie Mittoo, which have remained some of his most popular recordings. Vic Franklyn's career waned in the early 1980s and he is believed to have returned to Wales. Despite his enduring popularity on Canadian radio, nothing has been heard from him since the release of his final recordings.
