Danny Kessler

Music business executive. Born in Philadelphia. in the 1950's, after serving as head of A&R for Okeh Records, he was head of A&R for RCA's R&B division. He then founded his own production / music publishing company: Kryder Music Corp., and acquired ownership interests in Rush Music Corp. and Broadway Music Corp.. In 1959, he co-founded Seville Records. with Murray Sporn. In 1960 he divested himself of these interests and joined Leiber & Stollers' production company and in 1963 left, reactivated Kryden and returned to Seville to work with Edward Kassner. In 1970 he and songwriter formed Sunflower Enterprises. And, in 1979 formed Inphasion Records with Clancy B. Grass III: the two would be business partners for the next several decades.
