Fred Bronson

Born January 10, 1949. A longtime writer, Bronson is well-known for his series of Billboard chart-related books including "Hottest Hot 100 Hits" and "The Number One Hits", as well as writing for Billboard's Chart Beat column for several years (until 2009). Has also worked in the television industry, working as a publicist for NBC from 1971 to 1982 as well as his appearances on "American Idol".
