James Amadeo

Canadian country music singer and songwriter from Thunder Bay, Ontario. His songwriting career started with "My Saddest Mistake" in 1947, which was a hit in the U.S. for Jimmie Osborne and led to Amadeo being one of the first Canadians to have a song chart in the U.S. without performing or recording there. Often co-wrote with Don Grashey and Myrna Lorrie. Passed away January 10, 1972 at age 56.
