Vanderley Martins aka Wanderley M. Moura aka Wanderley Martins is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, born on January 17, 1942, in the city of Mombaça / Ceará. In 1970, he began his artistic career appearing in a collection of artists launched by the record company Fermata. In 1971, he won the "Festival de Música Regional da TV Bandeirantes". In the same year, he released an LP for Scala Japoty, with several compositions of his own, including "Pedra De Amolar", "Na Casa De Farinha" and "Gato Da Vizinha". In 1974, he achieved his greatest success, the bolero "Dama De Branco", made in partnership with Zé Matão and recorded by the duo Pedro Bento E Zé Da Estrada, and which had about 20 re-recordings. In the same year, he achieved success with the composition "Coração Que Não Sabe O Que Quer", in partnership with Flor da Serra and recorded by the duo Flor Da Serra & Santiago. In 1975, Milionário & José Rico successfully recorded their composition "Mundo Cruel". In 1978, Francisco Lacerda recorded "Coração Magoado". In 1979, Garcia E Zé Matão recorded "O Homem Mais Feliz Do Mundo", from their partnership with Zé Matão. In 1982, another of his compositions with Zé Matão was "Língua Afiada". In 1991, the pagode group Raça Negra recorded their authorship and Talismã, "Tamborim Mensageiro".
