American vocalist and instrumentalist (ukelele, banjo) (born December 27, 1894 in Seattle, WA – died March 19, 1951 in Seattle, WA) Sister of Helen Louise and sister-in-law of Frank Ferera. Brought into the group of Louise And Ferera in 1917. In 1917 Helen Louise and Frank Ferera added Helen's singing sister, Irene Greenus, to their successful vaudeville and recording act and began recording as a trio, Louise, Ferera And Greenus for Aeolian Vocalion, Columbia, Gennett, OKeh, and Pathé. Among the hits issued by the Columbia label were: "Hawaiian Echoes" (A2368 from 1917) (as written by Seattle songster, James W. Casey), "My Hawaii" (A2509 from 1918,) and "In The Heart Of Hawaii" (A2916 from 1920). That latter disc, released after Helen Louise's death, features a new duo on the flipside: Ferera And Franchini with their tune "My Hawaiian Melody."
