Angel Of Mercy

Heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 1980 by vocalist/guitarist David St. James. During the next seven years, a full lineup was established and the sole album was released. The reason why it took so long was partly because of the scarce heavy metal scene in Las Vegas, and the band rented a large warehouse to practice and play live with up to 200 people in the audience sometimes. The debut album failed to secure the band a recording contract, but the album is now regarded as one of the best obscure heavy metal albums, and the original LP has also become one of the most expensive in the genre.
