Tove Dahlberg

Swedish opera and concert singer (mezzo-soprano), born April 25, 1973 in Stockholm. She studied jazz singing at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm before she started her education as an opera singer - first at Opera Studio 67 and then until 2002 at the Opera Academy in Stockholm. She was then accepted to the Covent Garden Opera's two-year Young Artists Program in London. She made her debut at the Royal Opera in Stockholm as Cherubin in Mozart's Figaro's wedding. Since then, she has primarily been active on opera and concert stages outside Sweden. In Europe, she has performed at the Royal Opera House in London, Glyndebourne, the La Monnaie Opera in Brussels, the Opéra de Lyon, the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival and the Maggio Musicale in Florence. In the United States, she has sung at the Mostly Mozart Festival at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York, with the San Francisco Symphony and at the Chicago Opera Theater. In Asia, she has sung with the English Baroque Orchestra Academy of Ancient Music at the Macao International Music Festival.
