Venezuelan singer “El coplero apureño” by Jesús González was produced by the Paso Real label for the distributor Discorona in 1988, in Lp, cassette and CD formats. Here, González, born in Guasimal, Apure state, confirms once again his excellent quality as a composer. He is, among other pieces of fame, the author of the song “Al otro lado del río” that popularized Armando Martínez. In “El coplero apureño” he includes a second version of that piece, with the title of “Conflict on the banks of the river”, where love finally triumphs. Also appear other of his songs known as "The garden of my loves" and "Serenade in love", which are hits in the voice of the disappeared singer Gilbertico Rodríguez. He also records his excellent joropo in time of six run "The return of a coplero". The musical accompaniment was in charge of the late maestro Gustavo Sánchez. The factory cassette disc was priced at 150 bolivars; However, the seller of the discotheque remarked it at 175 bolivars. Jesús González is now converted to the evangelical religion and has recorded many other records.
