Former boy soprano Joined EMI in 1967 and spent 34 years marketing classical records for EMI, Decca and and finally for Warner Classics International as General Manager, and later as Director of Artist and Repertoire Development. Executive producer for many Warner Classics recordings. Author of books on outstanding singers of the past.
