The Geargrinders are a St. Louis-based garage-punk band fronted by Jeff Hess and featuring some other veterans of the St. Louis rock'n'roll scene, including Cullen McGrane and Jason Edge, formerly of The Honkeys and other bands. The Geargrinders existed in its first incarnation in the late 1990s, but then reformed with a new lineup in October 2007 to play the Show-Me Blowout! garage rock fest put on by Kopper and Trouble in River City Productions.
