Danish singer, songwriter and model born January 6, 1985 in Copenhagen. She has made pop music under her real name and as part of the group Ex Cops, as well as black metal under the name Myrkur (4). Daughter of musician/producer Michael Bruun and lyricist Mette Amtoft. Bruun debuted in 2006 with a self-titled album of pop songs written by herself and her father. In 2008, she wrote the theme song, "If You Give It Up", for the Danish version of the reality show Paradise Hotel. After moving to New York she released the 2010 EP "Branches" and the 2012 single "Siren". In 2011 she joined indie pop group Ex Cops, who released the albums "True Hallucinations" (2013) and "Daggers" (2014). She debuted as a metal musician in 2014 with the EP "Myrkur", which blends black metal and gothic metal and was well received by critics. It was followed up in 2015 by the full-length album "M", produced by Norwegian Kristoffer Rygg from the group Ulver, which in addition to black metal mixes influences from post-metal, darkwave, Scandinavian folk music and classical music.
