Floyd J. Badeaux

Recording engineer from Port Arthur, Texas. Badeaux was the owner and operator of L&F Recording Studio/Musik Faktory/Great-Recordings LLC in Port Arthur. He was also a musician and for a time fronted hillbilly band The Rhythm Rangers. He worked at radio stations KPAC, KFMP FM, KOLE, KSUZ, and KWLD as chief engineer, announcer, newsman, and sports commentator. Badeaux was born on September 11, 1933, in New Iberia, Louisiana and died age 86 on December 27, 2019 in Nederland, Texas.
