Indie rock band based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Formed in 2001, but by December 3rd 2005 The Bites had played their final show (the EP launch for 'This Is A Full Stop.'). The nucleus of The Bites was Kirsty Stegwazi and René Schaefer — with other members changing since the band's inception. In early 2006 'The Bites' became 'Hand Hell'.
