Angel González

Internationally famous Mexican songwriter. He was born in Basúchil, Chihuahua who made so many interpreters famous through his songs; as the Tigres del Norte with "Contrabando y Traición"; Rosenda Bernal with “La Silla Vacía”; Gerardo Reyes with “Sin Fortuna”; and now with Lupillo Rivera; "Como un Cobarde", with Los Huracanes del Norte; "Carta A Un Amigo", with Marisol Téllez and many others. Ángel González was his stage name, his name was Estanislao Rivera Varela, he died on May 15, 2005 in the city of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua., where he lived with his family.
