Cassandra Humble

Cassandra Humble is an Adelaide based soprano. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Arts and International Studies (Hons) from the University of Adelaide and a Diploma of Instrumental Music – Classical Voice from the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Cassandra is currently a Young Artist with the State Opera of South Australia and studies voice with Cheryl Pickering. Recent performances include the The Events in the Adelaide Festival of Arts with the State Theatre Company and the ensemble Aurora, and the 30th anniversary concert season with the Adelaide Chamber Singers. Cassandra has also been an ensemble singer in the Australian Ballet’s 2015 production of The Dream, with the Rolling Stones on their 2014 Australia tour and with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in The Messiah. Cassandra has undertaken masterclasses and workshops with artists including Malcolm Martineau, Gillian Sullivan and Stephen Leek. She was soprano soloist for the Elder Conservatorium’s performances of The Messiah and understudy for the Queen of the Night in their production of The Magic Flute. Cassandra was invited to perform for the MBS Young Virtuosi Awards in 2015 and was a finalist for the 2015 Dawn Wallace Aria Competition.
