Boomer Norman

Musician, born in Houston, Texas. Norman moved to Austin, Texas in 1984. He played guitar in several bands, including Don McAllister Band in 1996 and Stop the Truck Band in the 2000s. He also worked with the Jim Stringer AM Band, Walt Lewis Band, Teisco Del Rey, Christine Albert and the Cornell Hurd Band. Norman suffered a stroke in 2008, which left him unable to use his left hand. Norman learned to play the piano and bass one-handed and has continued to play music in central Texas.
