Alexander Volkov

Alexander Volkov is a Russian sound engineer and cellist. Graduated from the Gnesins Moscow Specialized School of Music in the cello class (teacher I.P. Volchkov) and the Gnessin State Musical Pedagogical Institute (class of Professor A.Ya. Georgiana / Армен Георгиан, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR). In 1989, he completed training courses for sound engineers at the State House of Radio Broadcasting and Sound Recording / Государственный Дом Радиовещания И Звукозаписи СССР, where leading experts in the field of sound recording were involved in teaching, after which he worked as a sound engineer at the GDRZ. In those years, many recordings were made both stock for the State Television and Radio Fund / Гостелерадиофонд, and in collaboration with recording companies, including the Мелодия company.
