Bruno Caroli

Bruno Caroli (Cotignola (Ra), November 30, 1912) is an Italian violinist and composer. Studies of violin at School of Lugo di Ravenna with D. Rambelli, G. Pani and G. Gambetti and theory with Francesco Balilla Pratella. He graduated from the Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna. In 1935 he moved to Switzerland and played in different cities. From 1939 to the end of 1942 he lived in Germany playing with a group of 17 musicians. Back in Lugano, 1943-1946 playing again in the clubs of the city then became part of RSI Orchestra remaining there until 1987.
