Roman Waschko

b. 26 June, 1921, d. 15 November, 2002, Warsaw, polish music journalist and critic one of Poland's top journalists in the 60's and 70's, was a contributor of "Billboard" newsweekly, "Jazz Forum" and "Metronome" jazz magazines. He wrote five radio programmes weekly, contributes rock, pop and jazz features to various local and international publications and acts as concultant to a number of Polish firms involved in the entertainment field. Among his credentials: Honorary President of the Polish Jazz Society; Board member of the International Jazz Federation; MC at major jazz events worldwide; author of three books on the music industry.
