Amanda Werne

Swedish musician and songwriter, stage name Slowgold, born January 8, 1989 in Gothenburg. Sometimes the name Slowgold refers to the band, which then also includes bassist Johannes Mattsson, drummer Erik Berntsson and keyboardist Viktor Hansson. Amanda Werne has also sung on several songs on Freddie Wadling's last album After the Rain (2016). The entire band Slowgold appeared as a backing band on the associated tour and can be heard on the live album. Slowgold was the band on Ebbot Lundberg's and Lars Winnerbäck's tours. In 2019, Slowgold won a Grammy in the category singer/singer-songwriter of the year with the album Mörkare.
