Sadistik Exekution was formed in Sydney, Australia in late 1985 by Rok (vocals) and Dave Slave (bass). After several early line up changes, they were joined by Sandy Vahdanni of Slaughter Lord on guitar and Sloth on drums in 1986. During this early period the band released the 4087726 cassette and recorded their debut album , which did not see a release for several years. Sandy left the band soon after the recording sessions for in March 1988 and they recruited Kriss Hades to replace him. This line-up (Rok, Dave Slave, Sloth and Kriss Hades) largely remained in place for the rest of the band's existence. In June 1991 their fellow Australians at Vampire Records finally released the long-delayed album on LP in both black and limited edition green vinyl. Vampire also released a CD version at a later date. Greek label Black Power Records also released the Lupercalia / Sadistically Executed 7" in late 1991. These followed up shortly with the self-released demo cassette 5372836, intended as a promo for their next album, which was to be titled 'Spiritual Dynamics', however, this album was never released. In 1994 they were signed to Osmose Productions from France, who released their second album, . In 1995 they toured Europe with Absu and Impaled Nazarene. Their shows are remembered as being quite outrageous, with very extreme behaviour both onstage and within the tour bus.1996 saw the release of the 3668702 CD single. The band's third album, , was initially released through the Australian label Shock in 1997. Shock also released the 5491987 CD single in 1998. Osmose then released again in 1998 to a wider audience. Their next album was released in 2002, followed up in 2004 by . The band then entered a period of inactivity and many thought they were over and done with until the release of the Tribute To Slayer Magazine split 7" with Nifelheim in 2006, released by US label Nuclear War Now! Productions. That was their final release of new material to date. In 2009 the band played their only live performance since 1999 for the first annual Australian Metal Awards. There have been no further signs of life since, but no official announcement of an end to the band has ever been forthcoming, so their current status in unknown.
