Stevie Ray Stiletto

American punk rock frontman, Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1956 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida with his family in 1959. He played with cover bands through the 1970s then formed punk band Stevie Stiletto (also known as Stevie Stiletto And The Switchblades) in 1983. McKelvey continued to front various lineups of Stevie Stiletto, including ones based out of Indianapolis and San Francisco until 1992, when he ended the band and moved back to Jacksonville. He formed the band Ray Ray, which became Continental Ray Ray, Ray Ray Rocks and Hurricane Ray Ray, before reforming Stevie Stiletto in the mid-1990s. He also started the side project El Kabongs, which performed punk and metal covers of classic rock. McKelvey died on March 24, 2013.
