Christina Hörnell

Swedish conductor, born March 17, 1964 in Botkyrka. Since October 1, 2014, she is director of music at Linköping University and conductor of Linköping's Student Singers and Östgöta Chamber Choir. Hörnell, who has a degree in organ, was the conductor and artistic director of Kongl. The Technology Choir in Stockholm in the years 1989–1994 and the Academic Choir in Stockholm 1991–2007. She was choirmaster at the Royal Opera in Stockholm 1994–2013 and choirmaster at the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra 2010–2014. In this position she led the Gothenburg Symphony Choir.
