Mother Disobedience is an Athens, Greece based, experimental band/collective led by the late Frank Plastic. They were formed somewhere between 1984 and 1986, under the name Sparmachetta, by Plastic and his wife Donna Clorox as a tribute band to Johnny Cash, but after Donna's tragic death by lightning, in 1987, Frank Plastic renamed the band to Mother Disobedience and started seeking new paths in the abyss of experimental/improvisational music as a therapy to his illusions caused by the loss. No work of Frank Plastic and his bandmates has been released before FPs death on Christmass Day 2010, except for the 3rd Studio Amendment album and a single track EP named Lahar II. Now his bandmates will continue to work on new recordings and release older ones, by the name Mother Disobedience and through their DIY label B24.
