Brazilian guitarist, composer, arrangement and producer. His training is marked by the direct guidance of Hermeto Pascoal and Itiberê Zwarg, of whose Itiberê Orquestra Família he was a member for ten years. With her, he recorded three albums and performed in the most important concert halls in Brazil and Latin America. In partnership with Naná Vasconcelos, he composed the soundtrack for the theater play Capitães da Areia (2005), nominated for the Shell award in the "best music" category. Bernardo was the winner of the 2009 edition of the Guarulhos Instrumental Festival. With the group Bamboo, he recorded the albums Bamboo (2010) and Abertura (2012). In the 2013 edition of the Villa-Lobos Festival, Bernardo acted as guitarist, arranger and musical director of the concert in honor of Dori Caymmi's 70th birthday, at Espaço Tom Jobim, with the participation of Dori himself, Nana Caymmi, Danilo Caymmi and Joyce Moreno. In 2016, he made, for the Japanese label Spiral Records (3), the album [m2033506], in trio with Joana Queiroz and Rafael Martini. Cangaço is Bernardo Ramos' first record on Rocinante and also his first solo record. He is accompanied by Beth Dau (voice), Rafael Rocha (trombone), Bruno Aguilar (contrabass), and Felipe Continentino (drums).
