Spanish humor vocal group form San Sebastian - Donostia, founded in 1941 by a group of members of the Coro Easo, leaded by Víctor Gracia and pianist Guillermo Lazcano, who were joined by Txomin Arrasate, Xavier Olascoaga, Txiki Lahuerta and Pepe Yanci alias Pepito Yanci. In 1954 Txomin Arrasate was replaced by Cipriano Larrañaga Juaristi alias Xipri Larrañaga (Cipri Larrañaga) and Xavier Olascoaga was replaced by his brother Sabin Olascoaga. Xipri Larrañaga was the musical director and arrangements and even made popular publicity wedges for the 61 Spanish radios on several commercial companies. Until its dissolution in 1961 reaped great successes in the Basque capitals, Madrid and Barcelona, as well as in France or Germany. From 1946 they succeeded in Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Venezuela and, especially in Mexico, with subjects such as "La Vaca Lechera", "Maite" or "Menudo Menu". The name Los Xey comes from Sei (euskera) = Seis (spanish) = Six. Six members but only perform four or five.
