Spanish writer and lyricist (Cádiz, 1972). Founder of Acuarela Discos indie label and "Malsonando" fanzine in 1993. Llorente is the author of three books of poems, Luna hiena (Vitruvio, 1998), Verano Muerto (Renacimiento, 1999) and Ensayando una Mueca (Vitruvio, 2011). His short stories and poems have appeared in magazines ('Hélice' Reloj de Arena', 'Laika', 'Renacimiento'), literary supplements (Babelia, Evasion), and in several anthologies (After Hours, Mondadori; Feroces. Radicales, marginales y heterodoxos en la última poesía española, DVD; Yo es otro, DVD; Invasores de Marte, Mondadori; Libro del Voyeur, Ediciones del Viento; Especial de poesía andaluza 70-80, En Sentido Figurado). His poetry has also been translated to Portuguese. Author of the biography of the popular Spanish indie band Los Planetas "La Verdadera Historia" for Rock de Lux (1999), he has also written lyrics for artists like Migala, Grupo Salvaje, The Wave Pictures and El Hijo and translated into Spanish the poetry of Philip Larkin, Raymond Carver and Dennis Cooper. He is also adapting into Spanish most of Julie Doiron´s repertoire, as seen in “Julie Doiron Canta En Español I", "II", III", "IV" and "V". Llorente is the co-author and the storyline writer for the comic in installments “Autoayuda Ilustrada” (Illustrated Self-Help), a work-in-progress confessional graphic novel about how to quit your heavy alcohol and smoking habits. He is also writing the storylines for a series called “El Arte De Ver Doble” (The Art of Seeing Double).
