Knutsen & Ludvigsen
Настоящее имя: Knutsen & Ludvigsen
Об исполнителе:
Norwegian duo whose music was primarily aimed towards children, but the catchy pop appeal of their songs and their memorable, often absurdist lyrics ensured them a somewhat unlikely cross-generational appeal, to the extent that their best work is now considered pop classics in Norway. Their music was played extensively on national radio, and in 1996, several Norwegian rock bands recorded the tribute album Ellediller & Krokofanter . Formed in Trondheim in the late '60s, their most popular record was their last album Juba Juba (1983), which included the last song they ever recorded together, the fondly remembered "Kanskje Kommer Kongen". After the duo split up in 1986, the members pursued individual careers. The relationship between them grew increasingly sour, but they came to terms again in the mid-'90s. Although they didn't record any new material, they performed a number of (very popular) reunion concerts in the '00s, including a high-profile performance at the rock festival Øya in Oslo in 2006, before Lorentzen's passing in 2010.
