Ron Murphy (4)

Born August 26, 1947 Died August 25, 2014. In the 1970s, played bass in the Hagan Brothers Band and then organized his own Muddy River, which was a little more jazzy and progressive than most of the bluegrass bands around Dayton at the time. He and his wife Lora Murphy ran the sound for many bluegrass festivals, both locally and nationally, and promoted some bluegrass shows.
